Booking Conditions:

  • Bookings are confirmed when a 25% deposit and a completed booking form are received by the Park Director. The deposit must be paid at least 60 days before the booking date and is non-refundable due to cancellation after that time.  Prior to the 60 days, we will endeavour to contact you if another group is interested in the same date(s) in which case three working days is given to pay the deposit.
  • The deposit doubles as a bond for damage or loss caused by your group. This is refunded within one week of departure if no damage, loss or extra cleaning is required.


Conditions of Hire :

  • The directions of the Park Director (or representative) must be observed at all times.
  • All group activities that we provide are to be supervised by a trained adult. Instruction in the operation, supervision and safety of activities will be given by the Park Director (or representative). A written copy is available when the camp is booked.
  • Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are not allowed on the property as are pets or firearms.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the buildings.
  • The purpose for which the property exists is to be respected. This includes no teaching that contradicts our basic Christian beliefs (copy available on request).
  • Your group must stay within the boundaries as defined on arrival.
  • Groups are required to provide their own first aid.
  • No fires are to be lit without the permission of the Park Director (or representative).
  • Furniture or bedding is not to be moved without the permission of the Park Director (or representative) and is to be returned before the end of stay.
  • Damage or loss will be charged at cost + 10%, with minimum charge of $5 per item eg cups, plates, cutlery etc.
  • General hygiene and cleanliness of the camp is to be maintained by the group during their stay (equipment provided) and the camp is to be left in the same condition as it was found. We will check the condition (including checks for graffiti and chewing gum) and will charge accordingly. A “Last Day of Camp” clean-up directions sheet is given at the camp but can be given prior to arrival.
  • The health and safety of your group and its property is your responsibility during your stay at Narrows Park.  We will make every endeavor according to our Health and Safety Policies to reduce risks and help make your stay not only safe but enjoyable.
  • Camp fees are to be paid by cash or cheque before leaving camp.
