Friends of Narrows Park

We, the Board, have already come a long way since we began in October 2001. We have supported a full-time director, upgraded the dwelling, Sydney Flats & small ablution block, dispensed with the full-time occupants, increased usage and made a huge difference to the appearance and general atmosphere of the park. We still have a long way to go and are confident we can make this a fully self supporting venture over the next few years.

At this time, we are asking individuals to invest in the work that has begun by contributing financially to the ongoing vision. Our biggest challenge is to maintain the cash flow, especially working capital, in the short term. If you are able to support us by becoming a friend – by donation or providing an interest free loan, please read on.

Who can become a Friend of Narrows Park?

Anyone at all. Many people have an interest in supporting the ongoing ministry and mission development. Narrows Park has been a part of the PCANZ for some 50 years and many have connections with its past. Your support (friendship) will help it continue to be a place of the future.

What is involved in being a Friend?

By becoming a Friend of Narrows Park, you’ll be invited to do two things:

  1. Make a commitment to pray for the Narrows Park Ministry Trust Board, the Camp Directors and the ongoing development and outworking of a vision for the future.
  2. Agree to give an annual donation of $60 ($5 per month), or make an interest free loan to support us in our ministry. This will assist in the financing of some of the aims and objectives of the Narrows Park Ministry Trust Board.

What will you receive from us when you become a Friend?

  • A quarterly newsletter letting you know about what is happening and who's who.
  •  A Membership Card
  •  An invitation to attend our annual Open Day
  • Free admission to pool for yourself and immediate family on presentation of your membership card

How do I become a Friend?

Simply email us your postal details to friends@narrowspark.co.nz and we will forward you an application form.
