Narrows Park is a facility for camps and retreats owned by the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and it's running and administration is overseen by a Trust Board established by the Waikato Presbyterian Youth Committee.
Our Aim:
To provide a quality camping environment for a range of groups and individuals in the community, with a special focus on children and youth ministry.
We offer a range of accommodation and activities for schools, sports, social, and church groups or individuals, in bunkrooms, marae style, or tourist unit.
Our facilities include a spacious hall and lounge, great kitchens, church, powered sites, open grassed and treed areas, volleyball, archery, orienteering, and a large swimming pool (lots more activities are on the way).
We are situated in a great country location just a few minutes south of Hamilton on Highway 21 not far from Mystery Creek Event Centre and the Hamilton Airport.
Hamilton is host to major international events including the annual National Agricultural Fieldays, and the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. Visitors to Hamilton can visit the spectacular Hamilton Gardens and see the Southern Hemispheres largest Free Flight Aviary at Hamilton Zoo and Freeflight Sanctuary. Other nearby activities include the Waitomo Caves, The Otorohanga Kiwi House, The Waikato Museum of Art and History, and the place where all children enjoy visiting, Candyland.
